General Promotion Overview
The SPOT, CONNECT AND WIN promotion (“The Promotion”) is organized by the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation (“CBC”) where CAPITA Financial Services Inc. (“CAPITA”) is a participating Sponsor. The public (“Participants”) is encouraged to tune in to TV8 and VIBE 94.7 FM, 98.1 The One and 100.7 QFM to learn how to connect with participating sponsors and enter for a chance to win prizes including the Grand Prize of a Suzuki Across Hybrid SUV.
Promotion Period
The Promotion will run from the 22nd of June 2026 to midnight on the 31st of July 2026. Entries received outside the promotional period will not be considered.
Eligibility
- Open to listeners and viewers who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry and who are legal residents of Barbados.
- Employees, directors, officers, agents, and representatives of CBC, participating sponsors, advertising agencies, and promotional partners are not eligible to enter.
- Immediate family members of employees and staff of CBC, CAPITA and affiliate companies are not eligible to enter.
How to Enter
Participants must:
- Tune in to TV8 and VIBE 94.7 FM, 98.1 The One and 100.7 QFM broadcasts during the promotional period for instructions on how to participate.
- Follow the entry instructions as announced on-air or published through official CBC and CAPITA’s social media platforms.
Incomplete or inaccurate entries will not be considered.
Grand Prize Draw
- The Grand Prize draw will be completed and announced by CBC on the 7th of August 2026.
- CBC reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any participant before awarding the prize.
Winner Notification
- The winner will be contacted using the information provided with their entry.
- If the selected winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable period, declines the prize, or is found to be ineligible, an alternate winner may be selected.
Prize Conditions
Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.
Additional Promotional Offers / Prizes from CAPITA
- Participants who connect online will be automatically entered for a chance to win weekly prizes from CAPITA valued at $200.00.
- The first 10 customers who apply for and are approved for an Auto loan during the Promotional Period may qualify for: Insurance Cashback Incentives; Special Rates on Fixed Deposit Investments; Fuel Vouchers; Vehicle Care Kits; and other promotional offers as communicated by CAPITA.
Disclaimers
- Additional promotional offers are available only to qualifying approved applicants.
- Fixed Deposit products remain subject to CAPITA’s standard investment terms and conditions and any rates applicable during The Promotion period.
- Insurance benefits are subject to the underwriting requirements, terms, and conditions of the participating insurance provider.
- Participation in The Promotion does not guarantee approval for any loan, financial product, insurance product, or promotional benefit.
Customer Information & Communications
By participating in The Promotion, participants consent to CAPITA contacting them regarding promotional offers, financing opportunities, insurance solutions, investment products, and future promotions and special offers.
Limitation of Liability
CAPITA shall not be liable for any loss, damage, technical failure, interruption, delay, or circumstance beyond its reasonable control that affects participation in The Promotion.
Publicity
Eligible participants are automatically entered in The Promotion and consent to the use of their name, photograph and likeness for promotional and publicity purposes, unless said consent is withdrawn.
General Conditions
- CBC reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the Promotion at any time if circumstances beyond its control make it necessary.
- Any attempt to tamper with the entry process or violate these Terms and Conditions may result in disqualification.
- CBC’s decisions regarding all aspects of the Promotion are final.
Privacy
Personal information collected during The Promotion will be used in accordance with CAPITA’s internal policies and the Barbados Data Protection Act. Your information will not be shared with unauthorized third parties except where required by law or for the administration of this promotion.
Acceptance of Terms
Participation in The Promotion constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
